- Goto ‘Start–>Control Panel’
- Make sure ‘Classic view’ is selected.
- Double Click on ‘System’ to open system properties

Click on ‘Advanced System Settings’ in the left pane. - Windows Vista will prompt for confirmation.
- Click on ‘Continue’.
- Click on ‘Advanced’ tab

Open ‘Startup and Recovery’.
Disable Kernel Memory Dunp
- Select ‘None’ under ‘Write debugging information’
Click ‘OK’ on ‘Startup and Recovery’ window to close it.- Click ‘OK’ on ‘System Properties’ window to close it.
Enable Kernel Memory Dunp
- Select ‘Kernel memory dump’ under ‘Write debugging information’

- Click ‘OK’ on ‘Startup and Recovery’ window to close it.
- Click ‘OK’ on ‘System Properties’ window to close it.
