Enable/Disable Hibernation in WinVista

Unlike in Windows XP, where hibernation can be enabled or disabled in GUI, you have to do that by command prompt in Windows Vista. Make sure you are running in administrator mode. Type ‘cmd’ in the start menu search box. Press ‘Ctrl+Shift+Enter’. Windows Vista will prompt for your permission. Click ‘Continue’ to run Command Prompt
