After years of requests by users, Gmail is finally introducing rich text signatures. Until now, the recourse sought has been in the form of customized scripts or Firefox plugins for making the signatures of mails more than a boring bit of gray.
In order to use this new feature, visit ‘Signature’ section under the Settings page of your mailbox. A useful rich text editor is provided that lets you change text sizes, colors, highlighting and font while letting you add images and hyperlinks.
Right now, only the main version of the Gmail client has this feature. The older Gmail version, the HTML version and the mobile version do not support it. Those versions have a simple text editor in its place.
