You can run multiple instances of Google Talk simultaneously and sign in in with different id.
Trick 1 (command prompt)
- Run ‘command prompt’
- Switch to the directory where Google Talk is installed
- Type ‘googletalk \nomutex’ and press enter
- Repeat the previous step to run as many instances as you like
Trick 2 (create shortcuts)
- Right click in any folder/desktop and click on ‘New’ and select ‘Shortcut’
- ‘Create Shortcut’ window will appear on your screen and prompt you to enter the location of the item
- Enter the following and save the shortcut. Make sure to enter the correct path where google talk is installed.
“C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe" /nomutex
- You can repeat the above steps and create multiple shortcuts and run multiple instances of Google Talk simultaneously
