Office 2010 is the latest productivity suite from Microsoft which will be shipped in 2010. Office 2010 will be available for Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista and Windows 7 and will be available in both 32-bit and 64-bit. One of the major feature updates in Office 2010 is its web applications called ‘Office Web Apps’.
Office Web Apps is an online companion to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft OneNote applications. Like ‘Google Docs’, you can access, edit, create and share your documents from anywhere. You can use MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS OneNote for free without buying the entire suite. Office Web Apps is compatible with most popular browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari and can be used on PCs running Windows or Mac Operating System. The best thing is that you do not need to install the Silverlight plug-in for your browser to use the Office Web Apps.
