In computer networking, Media Access Control address (MAC address) or physical address is a quasi-unique identifier assigned to most network adapters or network interface cards by the manufacturer for identification.
Steps to find out the MAC Address
- Click Start–>Run, then type ‘cmd’ in the text box and press enter. It will open command prompt.
- Type ‘ipconfig/all’ in the command prompt window and press enter.
- The 12-digit Physical Address corresponding the particular networking device is its MAC address.
