Google is launching an upgraded version of their search engine. It is code name ‘Caffeine’. The developer preview is available for testing. Google’s upcoming search engine will improve indexing & search speed, accuracy and comprehensiveness. This will really give a wake up call for all SEOs. Companies may have to tweak their SEO techniques.
I tried Google ‘Caffeine’ and found the search results were different on ‘Google Caffeine’ and ‘Google Search’ for the same keyword. This means the algorithm of the search engine has been changed. It is very early to come to a conclusion about the changes in search algorithm used by Google Caffeine.
The results of keyword search of ‘gold rates’ on both sites are listed below. Although the first two links are same, but the third link has changed.
- Google ‘Caffeine’ : http://www2.sandbox.google.com
Keyword: gold rates
Results:![]()
- Google Search : http://www.google.com/
