Recently I received a notification to join a Smashing dance workshop from my friend on facebook and when i clicked on the event I was amazed to see the changes made to the page. Facebook had completely redesigned the page with a lot of details like who all are attending, who may attend etc.. This gives it a look like a normal profile page. This redesign will lead to more use of this by facebook users. I think it can be used for any purpose from an event like Watching movie, LAN Gaming to invitation for your marriage also.
Facebook is yet to make an announcement for the redesign.
