Steps to Change DNS Settings on Windows Vista
- Select Control Panel from Start menu.
- Click on ‘View network status tasks’.

- Click on ‘View Status’.

- Click on ‘Properties’ button.

- Windows Vista may ask for your permission. If asked, click on ‘Continue’ button.

- Select ‘Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)’ and click the ‘Properties’ button.

- Click the radio button ‘Use the following DNS server addresses’

- Enter the Preferred DNS server(e.g. 208.67.222.222 ) and Alternate DNS server(e.g. 208.67.220.220) details.
- Click the OK button, then the Close button, and the Close button again. Close the Network and Sharing Center window.
