Microsoft launched first version of the product in September 2009 and come up with the beta version of the 2011 version. This is designed to protect computers from Viruses, malwares and other threats. Beta versions are used by companies to test the product in the real time environment and get a genuine feed back from the users. This helps them to improve the product before the final release. This antivirus is recommended for a beginner and moderate user as it does not have the capability to tweak for the Advanced users.

You would have received the key file from Kaspersky in your mailbox. Unzip the file before activating the license. If you do not have the key file, visit activation.kaspersky.com and generate the key file.

Offline Activation

  • Disconnect from the internet
  • Open your Kaspersky Internet Security license manager
  • Click on “Activate new license” and enter the the license key when prompted.

  • Click Next. You will get a dialog box as shown below, click Ok on it

  • Click on Browse and open your key file.

  • Click Next and the activation of Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is done.
